5 Amazing landscapes I've visited

I have a number of "favourite" places I have visited but the photos included in this post are by far the best! 1) St Mary's Lighthouse - Whitley Bay - this is a personal favourite of mine because you can walk right up and around the lighthouse (if you time it right - or you get stuck in the water, oops!) - You get some amazing sealife there too as you can look around the rockpools and find small creatures, but if you look out to sea you can often find seals in the sea! It is such a beautiful piece of scenery and I fall in love with it every time I go.

2. Spanish City - Whitley Bay

So for those of you who do not know, this above, is Spanish City located in Whitley Bay - it plays host to Christmas markets, gigs and special events - and many years ago it used to have a cinema in the dome, that used to surround you! This building is so beautiful and rustic, and overlooks the sea - it is one of the most iconic landmarks in the North East of England and you can see why when you look at it - the iconic white building stands on the grass overlooking the beach and sea, and backs on to plenty of restaurants and even an amusements!

3 - The Mine - Holy Island - As the picture shows, this is an old WW2 mine that was deactivated, obviously, and is now used as a collection box for the Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners Royal Benevolent Society - I took a photo of this when I saw it because it really caught my attention - it looks so out of place that my eye was drawn to it immediately - I found it so interesting that they have used it as a collection and a commemoration - it is a very interesting site.

4. Lindisfarne Castle - Holy Island - this is an amazing castle high on the hill at Holy Island - you have to do a little bit of climbing up some questionably jagged rocks but it is worth it for the sight of the castle you end up getting! It truly is an amazing sight - you can walk up to the castle and you can also go in - when it is open! You also get to look out to sea from the hill and if you are lucky, you might catch some seals on the beach - you can approach them and get some very good photographs.

5. The Slanting Tree - Berwick Now, I do not know where in Berwick this is, except that it is on the castle wall somewhere; however this photo I took amazes me - I love how the tree is slanting to the left, it leaves the path clear and gave me the opportunity to capture this amazing photo! I put it in to black and white because it just looks so much better and personally, I love it!
