Nico and Cheeko: Pet Photography Photoshoot of the Month

This month I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot for two beautiful dogs; Cheeko (pictured below) a Pocket Bully, and his brother Nico, a French Bulldog - both had a beautiful temperament and made for a very fun, albeit muddy, photoshoot - the pair are mischief makers but delivered some beautiful photos. I love photographing animals and would argue that at the moment, it is my favourite type of photography, mainly because I capture them in their natural environment and get to photograph them being themselves and that makes it all worth it. This photoshoot took place in Consett, County Durham on a very rainy, miserable afternoon yet produced some amazing shots of the boys enjoying the mud and puddles. These photos were shot on a Canon 700D camera, using a 55-250mm lens - it produced some of the best shots I have ever taken - this was a big photoshoot for me as it was one of my first as a "professional" photographer and I wanted to deliver, thankfully the client was in love with the photos and shared them over all forms of social media - I am very glad as I was so proud of them and it shows that putting the effort in to photograph them as much as possible, and spending time editing them properly, you produce some amazing shots. Very proud of them - a very good photoshoot for me indeed.
